There was an outstanding performance on display from the Ardgillan Junior and Senior Rugby squads this week in the North Dublin Schools Cup Blitzes.
The junior team had victories achieved by handsome margins in both matches played, they were rightly and squarely placed at the top of the pile in the sunny climes of west Dublin.
Special mention must go to the exceptional attitude, teamwork, humility & sportsmanship shown by all in victory.
With 7 tries scored and a mere 2 conceded, an attack-minded Ardgillan bravely fought & scrapped for every ball, ruck and lineout. Tenacious in the tackle and with a timely deftness of pass, this was a victory borne of heart, conviction and no shortage of creativity.

Our senior team won all three of their games in Malahide.They played Malahide College, Garrettstown and Castleknock CC.
