All in our school community wish to extend our deepest sympathies to the family, relatives and friends of Gerry McGuire on his sad passing.
Gerry was the Chairperson of the Board of Management in our college for many years. He always carried out his duties as Chairperson with efficiency, fairness and respect. As well as chairing the board, he also interviewed and appointed many current and past staff members into their teaching roles and promotional positions and had a huge grá for our school community.
He will be deeply missed. His legacy will live on in Ardgillan and the other schools he worked with. We are grateful to have known him.
