All at Ardgillan College were thrilled for the Class of 2021 upon receiving the news of their exceptional examination results last week. A remarkably large number of students achieved in excess of 500 points with two female students Emily and Holly claiming the top spot with 625 points each.
The dual system adopted this year where students opted for an accredited grade, state exam or both worked well to ensure that the talent and capability of this group of students was adequately recognised despite the adverse learning conditions posed by the pandemic.
Principal Nuala Ní Mhúrchú was delighted to welcome over thirty students who achieved more than 500 points back to the school and was thrilled to hear about the many college courses waiting for them on the horizon. She wished to extend her sincere congratulations to the entire class of 2021.
All at the college wish them a lifetime of success and happiness and hope that they enjoy celebrating their momentous achievements with their families.
