Dear Parents,
I hope you and your family are keeping well and in good health in these challenging times.
The Ardgillan private school bus service will resume in full on the 7th of September in line with public health advice and here are the arrangements we have put in place to have the students transported to school safely on Star Bus.
Observing hygiene requirements will be a key priority and all pupils using the bus will need to do the following
The Student:
To wear face coverings at all times while on the bus
To always sit in the same seat each day, next to a sibling or a student in your base class
To use hand sanitizer on boarding the bus
To observe respiratory etiquette at all times while waiting on and boarding the bus
Not to use school transport if displaying COVID 19 symptoms
To maintain physical distancing while waiting on the bus to arrive
To disembark the bus in an orderly fashion
On the Bus:
Our Bus Driver and minder will wear face coverings at all times
Hand sanitizer will be fitted at the entrance to bus
Sanitation and additional cleaning requirements will be put in place
We have agreed the measures to take if a child on the bus becomes ill
We will to any changes in public health guidelines
Contract Tracing:
We are required to send a full list of every student using our bus to the college in case contract tracing is required. Therefore, we require the following information by Wednesday the 9th of September, if we do not receive it the student will be refused access to the bus until we have the information.
Student’s Full name
Parent’s Full name and Contact Number
Please text/WhatsApp to Alan on 0851500840 or email me at starbusandcoach@hotmail.com.
The Ardgillan school bus will operate at the same times and I can be contacted anytime for any additional information required or for list of bus times.
The cost of the service will remain the same: €15 per week per student, €25 for siblings only
Please have money in envelope with student’s name on it and give to driver every week.
